Kids Fishing Ponds. The Best Investment for the Future.

Each of our lakes has a unique management goal. The goal of the lake right behind me is a kid's fishing pond. What makes a kid's fishing pond unique is that you really want to maximize catchability. You want to make it really easy for those youngsters to get out there and make their first memories. Catch a rod bending fish that really gets them excited and get them hooked for life.

And in this lake, we also installed a lot of permanent artificial habitat. I believe our habitat density in this lake is 40% of the shoreline. The goal is to have a lot of very hungry baths that aren't necessarily trophy class size. They're easier to catch. They're really aggressive. They're really going after their food and that makes it super fun and much more likely that the kids are actually going to hook and land the fish that that is going to help them. And they will remember that very first fishing experience and become one of their favorite childhood fishing memories.
